Pay-per-click (PPC) is an internet advertising (Marketing) model used to drive traffic to websites, in which an advertiser pays a publisher (typically a search engine, website owner, or a network of websites) when the ad is clicked. The advertiser only pays when their ad is clicked by an online user. Google Ads is one of the top internet advertising company. Pay-per-click is very useful in websites organic traffic.
Pay-per-click is commonly associated with first-tier search engines (such as Google Ads, Amazon Advertising, and Microsoft Advertising formerly Bing Ads). There are three main types of pay-per-click marketing ads 1) Text Ads 2) Display Ads 3) Shopping Ads. PPC display advertisements, also known as banner ads, are shown on web sites with related content that have agreed to show ads and are typically not pay-per-click advertising.
